Junior Scholarships

The following scholarships are for High School Juniors only

Questbridge College Match and Scholarship Program www.questbridge.org A college prep scholarship for high school juniors with strong academic record and a household income of less than $60,000. National College Match program pairs high achieving and low-income students with admissions and scholarships to 33 colleges. Deadline September 28 of senior year.

Jefferson Leadership institute Scholarship through Northern NY Community Foundation and the Jefferson Leadership Institute of the Greater Watertown Chamber of Commerce. $500 scholarship towards a college of your choice. Mentorship during your senior year of HS. Selection based on GPA, Community service, recommendations and personal interview. Deadline April 1.

 The following scholarships are available to members of the Junior Class who are in the top 10%-15% of your class and demonstrate leadership, school and community activities. Each scholarship is for the specific college listed, you must attend that college to receive the award, and you may have to maintain a certain GPA to keep the scholarship. See your counselor by May 5.

Clarkson University Leadership & Achievement Awards: $9,000-$11,000 per year. Top 15% of class
Elmira College Key Award: $15,000 per year. Top 10%

LeMoyne College Heights Award: $11,000 per year. Top 10%, minimum 50 on each PSAT
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) Medalist: $15,000 per year. Top 10%, advanced math & science courses

Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Computing Medal: $6,000 per year. Top 10%, interest in computers or mathematics.

Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Creativity & Innovation Award: $6,000 per year. Top 10%, demonstrate innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship.

St. Lawrence University Augsbury Award: $10,000-$20,000 per year. Top 10%

Russell Sage College or Sage College of Albany Student Sage Award: $5,000-$15,000 per year. Top 25%, 1000+ PSAT/SAT Math/Verbal

Wells College 21st Century Award: $5,000 per year. 90+ GPA.

University of Rochester Bausch & Lomb Award: $7,500 per year. Excellent science & PSAT scores

University of Rochester Frederick Douglas/Susan B. Anthony Award: $7,500 per year. Rigor of courses in humanities and/or social sciences, PSAT scores.

University of Rochester Eastman Young Leaders Award: $7,500 per year. Demonstrated leadership

University of Rochester Xerox Award: $7,500 per year. Strong interest in technology, computers, mathematics.
